Regional and international exhibitors are allowed to bring their medicinal cannabis products to exhibit. However, according to the laws of Barbados, they are required to be in the private exhibit, which will only include doctors, nurses, pharmacists and medical students. A letter must be sent to the Barbados Medicinal Cannabis Licensing Authority (BMCLA) stating what kind of products and how much of that product is being brought in, so that the BMCLA can provide the exhibitor with the relevant documentation to prevent any issues at the point of entry at the airport. This information is required a minimum 10 days in advance of the Conference to ensure a smooth process.
